Gestalt coaching emerges out of two paradigms. Traditional life coaching is a results and strategy oriented approach but Gestalt coaching prioritizes self knowledge and self awareness as its foundation, adopting the approach that while results are important they are second to the process of self exploration. The blending of these two paradigms makes for a powerful inquiry meant to support the inquirer to make choices that arise out of a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
